Our Austin office is seeking an enthusiastic summer intern. This internship is in-person and open to Applicants who have completed a minimum of 2 years of higher education.

Day to Day Responsibilities and Opportunities:

  • Meet with Senior Project managers and firm Principals to develop a list of goals and learning objectives for the summer. Check-in monthly on progress, to adjust direction, and for general feedback.
  • Work directly with Senior Project Managers and firm Principals to develop, design, and layout active project presentation graphics.
  • Utilize office graphics and design standards for presentation creation and marketing items. 
  • Be introduced to the process of working with outside consultants, including Structural, MEP, and Civil Engineers.
  • Participate in office-wide skill shares including relevant topics on dealing with contractors, drawing guidelines, and how to make a great graphic presentation.
  • Learn about the fundamentals of a design practice and the architectural profession.
  • Participate in the schematic design of a variety of project elements.
  • Assist with Construction Administration, including RFI response, Submittal Review, and monthly site visits (PPE provided).
  • Assist with as-built documentation, including exterior/interior conditions and photography.
  • Participate in Client Presentations, including the preparation of presentation material, and creation and review of meeting recaps.

What We Look For:

  • Have completed a minimum of two years of higher education
  • Experience working in Revit preferred
  • Ability to interact positively with others, to solve problems and to constructively communicate those solutions to others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
