Description

Our Raleigh office has an opening for a full-time, in-office summer Intern.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and participate in design meetings
  • Create electronic and physical finish boards
  • Maintain and organize finish library
  • Gain familiarity with associated design technologies such as Revit, InDesign, Sketchup, etc.
  • May assist with drawing corrections as needed
  • Assist Interior Designers and Project Managers with various aspects of the design process, including concept imagery, selection of finishes, lighting, and furniture
  • Attend and assist designers with site visits as needed
  • Participate in team meetings when schedule permits
  • General administrative tasks
Education and Experience:
  • Currently attending an accredited college or university to obtain Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism with clients, vendors, co-workers, etc.
  • Takes instruction well and executes tasks efficiently under guidance
  • Knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, and finish materials
  • Basic graphic and visualization skills, as well as verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop
  • Encouraged to attend industry events
